'International Art of Giving Day 2018'

Daffodil Institute of Social Sciences (DISS) hosted the 'International Art of Giving Day 2018' in Bangladesh.

Art of Giving (AOG)  a philosophy of life to spread the peace and happiness among the people in the society was founded on 17th  May 2013 by Prof. Achyuta Samanta — an educationist, social activist, social reformer and Founder of KIIT and KISS. This year on 17th May, Daffodil Institute of Social Sciences (DISS) celebrated 5th Anniversary Celebrated Art of Giving across 3 different places of Bangladesh at Daffodil International University, Dhanmondi & Ashulia along with Daffodil International College, Baburhat, Chandpur with the initiative of sharing meals with more than 1100+ underprivileged children & their family based on the theme "PYAAR BHARA PACK" (FEEDING WITH LOVE).

Md Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, DIU and Daffodil Group and Professor Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Honourable Vice Chancellor of DIU joined in this kind movement and contributed to the underprivileged children and their family with the concept "People's Contribution, People's Participation" in the 71 Milonayoton of Daffodil International University. Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, CEO of Daffodil Family, Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director (Students' Affairs) of DIU, Mr. Mahmudul Hasan, Principal of Daffodil International School took part in this Nobel initiative with the Daffodil Family members.  Students and Professors of DIU those who are staying in different 8 countries also put their hands together and spared the message globally to share foods with happiness.
